Genc Bashota was born in Prishtina. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University in Prishtina. He finished postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb in the area of “Economic Analysis and Planning”. He worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics in Prishtina. He continues to work as a lecturer of Macroeconomics at the AAB University. He also has private business experience and has been involved in managing several projects especially in the field of investment in the processing industry and agriculture, as well as in transfer of foreign technologies.
