Overview

The Municipality of Prishtina is dedicated to improving citizens life conditions, through offering qualitative services and opportunities for economic development. Among main instruments the Municipality has in its disposal for achieving of these goals are capital investments in infrastructure.

Considering the budget constraints, the Municipality aims to bring into life infrastructure projects through public-private partnership. Public-private partnership is a financing model for projects of public infrastructure. Public partner is the Municipality of Prishtina whereas the private partner could be a private owned business, public corporation or a consortium of businesses with a specific field of expertise. This joining through interest of parties offers the opportunity for building the infrastructure and service offering, using private capital and experise, as well as public sector resources, namely the Municipality of Prishtina.

The conference aims to inform potential investors about the projects that the Municipality of Prishtina has set as a priority. The goal, key parameters, benefits and advantages of each project were provided by the Municipality as an overview of the situation and investment opportunities
